In this session, participants will learn about the concept of Open Access (OA) and its positive impacts for scholarly communication. We will review current efforts to support the OA movement through University Libraries including OA publishing avenues and resources through UL’s collections. The topic of predatory publishers and how to detect and avoid them will be presented.
