Abstract

On Friday, October 6, 1961, Merle McCurdy was sworn in as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio by Federal Judge James C. Connell, the same Judge who jailed Merle’s brother, Foster, in the late 1940s for picketing the Judge’s house during a Union labor dispute.
